This course introduces the concepts of the tax engine. It imparts knowledge on general tax requirements for banks (e.g. EUSD, country specific financial transaction tax, QI, FATCA, German tax, Swiss final withholding tax) and on how these requirements are implemented within the Avaloq Banking System.
The participants will become familiar with the objects used as input parameters for the tax engine. Participants will also gain an in depth understanding of the business transactions involved in tax and how they are linked to tax requirements in general and in detail based on some examples.
Enhanced by several demonstrations and hands-on examples, the course participants will learn how to set up and maintain tax relevant input parameters on objects and understand their impact on the tax engine.
