Course description
This course will introduce the concepts of the portfolio management object model and the concepts behind the restriction engine. The course imparts knowledge on how centralised and de-centralised portfolio management for retail, private banking and institutional banking clients is achieved with the Avaloq Banking System.
The participants will become familiar with all the objects from the PFM module including the Asset Allocation, Model Portfolio, Benchmark, Index, and Investment Policy Statement. Participants will also gain an in depth understanding of the different restriction types in Avaloq, how restrictions are linked to clients and the different evaluation options provided.
Enhanced by several demonstrations and hands-on examples, the course participants will learn how to set up and maintain all portfolio management objects and restrictions.

Upon successful completion of this course every participant will:

  • Understand the different restriction types available
  • Be able to create, link and evaluate restrictions

Prerequisites
Before participating in this course, participants must have either attended the course “Avaloq Foundation (FOU)” or have equivalent knowledge and experience with the Avaloq Banking System.
