Course description
This course gives an introduction to the parameterisation of the accounting functionality. Basically three "core engines" in Avaloq will be discussed. Participants will get an insight in the areas of booking kinds, costs, booking logic and balancing rules. The definition of ledger accounts and the creation and parameterisation of the chart of accounts is also part of the training.
Besides theoretical background the practical work with Avaloq will enable the participant to understand parameterisation techniques in-depth. At the end of the course participants will be able to implement accounting polices, posting rules and charts of account.
The content of this course is conform to the topics that are treated in the course
"Fundamentals of Avaloq Customisation (ACP)". Therefore this course is for people who would like to brush up their knowledge (upgrade from older releases, prepare for exam, prepare for further accounting courses).
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will:
  • have a fresh and current view on the concepts around the parameterisation of the Cost-, Book- and Balance Engine.
  • have seen in demonstrations how to parameterise a business case in the cost-, book-, and balance engine.
 
Target audience
Parameterisers responsible for the implementation of the requirements in the accounting department
