Course description
In this course we will provide an insight into the needs and best practices for complete end-of-period (EOP) processing in the Avaloq Banking System.
After an introduction to the most important steps within end-of-period (EOP) processing, we will build up a basic job net. We will discuss the various possibilities and requirements to set up, schedule and run jobs. We will use the available interfaces to manage and create jobs as well as run the book date switch (BDS). Based on an example of a MESI setup with different time zones, possible solutions will be shown. The course is based on tools, functions and APIs which are included in the Avaloq Banking System.
